Marjan Shakeri (b. 1982, Tehran) is a contemporary jewelry designer and maker. She graduated in Textile Design and Printing from the Art University of Tehran. Mostafa Asadollahi (b. 1989, Tehran) studied Graphic Design and works across design, painting, and conceptual art. Since 2021, Marjan and Mostafa have worked collaboratively in the field of contemporary jewelry. Their partnership led to the establishment of Ajibkhaneh Eshghbaz, an independent art space in Tehran dedicated to exploring the narratives, aesthetics, and material culture of Iran and the broader Middle East. In addition to producing collaborative bodies of work, including their contemporary jewelry series, they curate exhibitions, collect and present artworks, and support emerging artists and designers through mentorship and creative collaboration. Their practice seeks to reinterpret cultural heritage through contemporary artistic expression, creating new dialogues between tradition and the present.
مرجان شاكري مصمّمة وصانعة مجوهرات معاصرة، وُلدت في طهران عام ١٩٨٢، وتخرّجت في تخصّص تصميم المنسوجات وطباعتها من جامعة الفنون في طهران. أما مصطفى أسد اللهي، المولود في طهران عام ١٩٨٩، فقد درس التصميم الجرافيكي، ويعمل في التصميم والرسم والفن المفاهيمي. بدأ تعاونهما في مجال المجوهرات المعاصرة عام ٢٠٢١، وأثمر تأسيس «عجيب خانه عشق باز»، وهو مكان مستقل للفنون في طهران يستكشف الحكايات والتقاليد الجمالية والثقافة المادية في إيران والشرق الأوسط. وإلى جانب إنجاز مجموعات فنية مشتركة، منها سلسلة مجوهراتهما المعاصرة، يتولّيان الإشراف الفني على المعارض وتنظيمها ويقتنيان الأعمال الفنية ويعرضانها، ويدعمان الفنانين والمصمّمين الناشئين من خلال الإرشاد والتعاون الإبداعي. يسعيان في عملهما إلى إعادة قراءة الموروث الثقافي بأدوات التعبير الفني المعاصر، واستكشاف ما يمكن أن ينشأ من حوار بين التقاليد والحياة المعاصرة.
