Mobin Miandashti is a Tehran-based graphic, motion, and type designer whose practice focuses on Persian and Arabic letterforms. He founded Typanic.ttf, an online platform for motion graphics courses and kinetic typography, and works as a senior graphic designer at Studio Metaphor. His practice connects lettering and type design with animation for branding and editorial projects. His Zhian typeface received a TDC69 award and bronze at the GRANSHAN Type Design Competition in 2024. He also received TDC70 recognition for the NIAN KIAN motion poster and TDC72 recognition as motion designer for Tehran Type Week 2025. For the latter project, he collaborated with art director and designer Ali Asali on a visual identity that translated calligraphic structures into a flexible modular system across print, motion, signage, and installation. Through studio practice and teaching, he works with the expressive possibilities of moving letterforms and the relationship between typographic form, rhythm, and visual communication.
مبين مياندشتي مصمّم جرافيكي متخصّص في الرسوم الجرافيكية المتحركة وتصميم الخطوط الطباعية يقيم في طهران، ويركّز على الحروف الفارسية والعربية. أسّس «تايبانيك تي تي إف»، وهي منصة إلكترونية لدورات الرسوم الجرافيكية المتحركة وتحريك الحروف والنصوص، ويعمل مصمّماً جرافيكياً أول في استوديو ميتافور. يجمع بين الخط وتصميم الخطوط والتحريك في مشاريع العلامات التجارية والتصميم التحريري. نال خطّه «ژيان» جائزة تي دي سي ٦٩ والجائزة البرونزية في مسابقة غرانشان لتصميم الخطوط عام ٢٠٢٤، كما حاز تكريم تي دي سي ٧٠ عن ملصق «نيان كيان» المتحرك، وتكريم تي دي سي ٧٢ عن تصميم الرسوم الجرافيكية المتحركة لأسبوع طهران للتصميم الطباعي ٢٠٢٥. وفي المشروع الأخير، تعاون مع المصمّم والمدير الفني علي عسلي على هوية بصرية تستمدّ من تكوينات الخط نظاماً مرناً من وحدات قابلة للتركيب، يمتد إلى المطبوعات والتحريك واللافتات والأعمال التركيبية. ومن خلال التصميم والتدريس، يستكشف القوة التعبيرية للحروف المتحركة والعلاقة بين شكل الحرف وإيقاعه ودوره في التواصل البصري.
